Welcome to the website in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Values in Medicine, Science, and Technology Conference, hosted annually by the Center for Values in Medicine, Science, and Technology at the University of Texas at Dallas. Since the first conference in 2011, to explore the interplay between human, ethical, social, cultural, and political values, on the one hand, and science, technology, engineering, and medical research and practice, on the other hand. This interdisciplinary conference has included participants from at least four continents, at every career stage, though we have devoted a lot of attention and resources to supporting students and early career scholars.
This page seeks to gather the information together from first ten years of the conference, collecting past programs, featuring some of the publications that have resulted from conference presentations, and providing information about the collaborative enterprises that have been incubated by the conference.
