The Center for Values in Medicine, Science, and Technology and the History and Philosophy Track in the School of Arts & Humanities are excited to announce that Jonathan Tsou will join us in the Fall as the Marvin and Kathleen Stone Distinguished Professor of Humanities in Medicine and Science. Professor Tsou is a recognized expert in the fields of philosophy of psychiatry, philosophy of psychology and cognitive science, general philosophy of science, and the history of 20th century philosophy of science. He will be a valuable addition to the Center and the classroom, complementing the expertise of existing faculty while bringing in new areas of research and teaching. Before joining us, he was Professor of Philosophy at Iowa State University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 2008.
