TRAVEL INFO

Dallas is served by both DFW and Dallas-Love Field airport, both of which have easy access to Dallas-Forth Worth’s public transport system, DART. The DART system will be the most economical means of travel (about $5 to get from the airport to your destination). After a few bus and train changes, the hotel is within walking distance from the last bus or train stop.

  • FROM LOVE FIELD TO UT DALLAS: Have $5 cash ready to purchase an all-day ticket on the bus when exiting the airport. Get on Bus 524 to the Inwood/Love Field station. Get off at the Inwood/Love Field station and go up the stairs to get onto the Orange Line (Parker Rd). Take the train to Bush Turnpike Station and exit the train to board Bus 883. This bus will take you straight to campus (approximate travel time: 2 hours)

Get off at the Inwood/Love Field station and go up the stairs to get onto the Orange Line (Parker Rd). Take the train to Forest Lane Station and take Bus 360. (approximate travel time: 2 hours 45 minutes)

(approximate travel time: 2 hours 45 minutes)

We also recommend Super Shuttle for shuttle service between either Dallas-Love Field or DFW Airport and Hyatt Regency North Dallas as a fairly economical solution, but because it is usually a ride share, it can take some time to pick up passengers and get under way. You may try and make a resrevation prior to your arrival, but most shuttles operate on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis where they pick up whoever is at the airport.

Taxis from DFW and Lovefield can get quite pricey. If this is your preference, when you walk out of the airport, a line of taxis will be waiting to whisk you away, no prior reservation needed.

Car rentals can be fairly affordable if you book early / through a discount vendor. (But make sure you’re renting from one of the agencies at the Rental Car Center at the airport.)

If you have any questions, you may contact the Center.
